Species: Acipenser Schrenckii

Found in China and Russia, Amur sturgeon can live more than 30 years. The largest individuals can grow to over three metres and weigh more than 190kg. This long-lived fish only starts to produce its characteristic large grey to emerald coloured eggs at the age of ten.
